GRBL Hot Wire Firmware and Software V2.51

This is the latest software and firmware for the CNC Foam Cutter version v2.51, uploaded April 2026

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11. Older Windows versions may work, but have not been tested.

  • The Windows software requires a minimum screen resolution of 1920x1080

What’s New in v6.51:

  • Fixed an issue with exit dialogue appearing twice.

  • Added awarning if the wrong firmware is detected. e.g only 3 axis are found.

  • Code review to prevent any unhandled exceptions. Should be more robust now.

  • Changed Jog both Carriages to display arrows for better international users.

  • Bug fixes
