Jaguars
These pictures where taken at the Jaguar’s Enthusiasts Club 30th anniversary
The XJ6 seen here was the same model and colour of mine. I had a 1972 4.2 litre which had a cracked block. I rebuilt it with a Series II block it ran superbly. I was 23 at the time and had not long finished a 4 years apprenticeship on Jaguar’s, Rover and Triumphs. This was with Dutton Forshaws in Bedford. This was the car I had when I meet my soon to be wife. I sold it eventually to get married and I’m still with her, not sure the XJ6 would have lasted as long. Always had a soft spot for Jaguars.
